Here she's wearing a custom-made Wana Sambo traditional outfit which was made for the wedding of another actress, Dakore Egbosun who wedded Mr Akande. This look features a jacket and a dress worn together as one.

Hi everyone!! i know i'm a horrible blogger! *covers face* but i'm sooo excited to share with you my successes and happy and sad days since my exhibition last december. Firstly, it was a HUGE success and ughhhh!! it was sooo amazing!! celebrities, socialites and the media flooded the event. :-).
ive been featured on top websites, blogs and magazines since december and its been wonderful!! I even got the opportunity to be part of a fashion show called #M.A.D which translates to 'Making A Difference' where all proceeds from the event went to charity... here are some pictures and links to find some features.

WANA SAMBO CRUISE COLLECTION 2010 SAMPLE SALE

I am so elated!! my cruise collection titled "Sidewalks are Runways" is finally here!! my exhibition/sample sale is on the 19th of december 2010.
My inspiration for the Wana Sambo ‘Sidewalks are Runways’ Cruise Collection ’10 was drawn from the streets. On the sidewalks, you see every form of creativity, style and persona expressed through people’s outfits. This collection can be taken straight from the lookbook into a woman’s closet because it has a piece for every occasion. Work, play, boat cruise, chilling-at-friend’s, out to dinner, or just hanging out. I wanted to show the versatility of a collection with it still telling a story.


The shoot (for the lookbook which will be updated soon) describes the unspoken rivalry between humans, the quest for achieving more wealth, success or fame than another, which leaves us constantly on our toes or just head strong against one another. Here it’s the case of two friends who constantly want to be ahead of each other without realizing they end up doing the same things but expressing them differently. . .

Rodarte at New York Fashion Week was oh so beautiful... i love the collection, all the looks are absolutely alluring, so subtle yet chic. for lack if a better word, i choose to describe it as 'FANTASTIC'! love love love!!!

Jason Wu's Spring/Summer 2010 collection is what i call refreshing... its ready-to-wear with the same feel as runway pieces. . . not to strong and not too easy on the eye either... perfect balance... I also love the pattern drafting, the bows and neutrals. tres chic!! j'taime!!
