a pink world... Un Monde Rose...: Pakistan Fashion Week! (a Bomb Sniffer was present at the first ever PFW)

It was not all about the Bombs in Paki! It was about the new image for Pakistan-- FASHION!! Pakistan has been craving the fashion spotlight since 2007. On the 4th of November 2009, 32 designers took center stage at the Marriott Hotel in Karachi. It was a competetion. The winner at the show would get a slot at Miami Fashion Week...It was a show of rich embroidery and textiles(a very notable Pakistani emblem). Wow! someone is standing up for Peace via Fashion
